Pella & Brick Lane Bikes launch exclusive clothing range
East London urban cycling mecca Brick Lane Bikes launches exclusive clothing range with Italian brand Pella Sportswear.
BLB, renown and highly regarded in the urban and fixie cycle markets, began as a dream of a former London street courier in 2006. The brand now has a worldwide reputation and is seen as the reference point across Europe for the latest trends in urban cycling.
The brand has launched an exclusive range with cycle clothing manufacturer Pella Sportswear. The aim of collaboration was to capture the essence of cycling heritage in Italy while injecting the urban flair from BLB. The collection will be limited to just 3 designs, to include: a technical wool jersey, a traditional vintage wool jersey as well as a modern short sleeve jersey and bib shorts.
“Collaborating with Pella enabled us to do what we love most at BLB London; mixing vintage style with the fresh new flair while showcasing the energy and style of London cyclists” says Feya Buchwald, founder of Brick Lane Bikes.
Pella is renown for attention to detail, passion for innovation and the 100% made in Italy guarantee. The collaboration has been seen as a fantastic opportunity for the two brands to push the boundaries of urban and road cycling.
Andrea Fortolan, General Manager at Pella “We are very excited and honored to be working with a brand with such prestige as BLB. We consider the urban cycling market important not only for its growing popularity but its role in sustainability, something that we as a company are very focused on.” The BLB range will sit alongside the existing lines of licensed brands from Pella, which include Aperol, Cinzano and Cynar to name a few.
The collection will be available worldwide through both distribution networks of BLB and Pella, with the first stock available beginning of April.
